BIO:


I've raised my daughters in San Mateo, CA, but spent my own childhood living all across the US and internationally. I spent many years in NYC after undergrad, where I taught at a junior high school with Teach for America before I became a book editor, attended culinary school, and worked in both savory and pastry kitchens.


TESTIMONIAL:


My most memorable experience as a SPC volunteer was and continues to be making the world's best apricot jam at Jam Camp.


I initially joined because I heard there was an opportunity to deliver birthday cakes to students for parents who live far away. I've since been involved with several other SPC initiatives that bring Stanford parents and families into community with one another, which I've thoroughly enjoyed.
