Stanford students needed clothes...
... the club helped provide them

100 years ago...
A Wardrobe Committee was established to provide clothing to students. Donors brought clothing to meetings and mothers from across the country sent boxes of clothes to be distributed to students who were in need. It was written in the minutes that the distribution of men’s clothing was “in the capable hands of Mr. Sharp... and Miss Crandell handles the women’s wardrobe very quietly and tactfully.”
